Our client had arranged for us to arrive on site during the morning. As is usual, we contacted him to let him know that a truck was on its way. Unfortunately, the customer was caught in traffic. Instead of waiting for him to arrive, our operatives checked what it was that he wanted doing and began to pour the concrete without the client on site. This isn’t always possible but in this instance, the customer knew that our lads could be trusted to place the concrete exactly where it needed to be.
When the customer arrived, the pour was 75% complete, all he had to do was check his levels and sign off on the job. This meant that the customer was happy as everything was done as it should be and within his time frame. The truck could then leave to be at the next job on time.
